Redmi Note 10 Pro Works Only Under These Conditions

Storage isn’t expandable, and given the small difference in the prices of the two variants, I would recommend that you pick the 256GB option. The Mi 11X Pro is 5G-ready and has two Nano-SIM slots; it also supports Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, dual 4G VoLTE, and six satellite navigation systems, including our homegrown NavIC. Is there any protection from water damage in the Redmi Note 10 Pro? The phone has an IP53 rating, which means it is protected from dust, and while it will survive the occasional raindrops or a sweaty jog, it will not survive being dunked into a glass of water. While the side-mounted fingerprint scanner is well placed, I am surprised to see Xiaomi not opting for an in-display one at this price level.

Xiaomi has gone with stereo speakers at the top and the bottom. The SIM tray, USB Type C port, and main speaker are on the bottom. An IR emitter is neatly integrated into one of the holes of the speaker grille at the top. Xiaomi ships the Mi 11X Pro with MIUI 12 on top of Android 11. My unit ran MIUI 12.0.1 and had the April Android security patch, which was the latest at this review. However, what did surprise us a little was the phone’s performance in benchmark tests, where the device managed to easily beat the Snapdragon 870 SoC totting OnePlus 9R (review) and come pretty close to the scores reached by the more powerful Mi 11X Pro, which comes with a Snapdragon 888 SoC ticking inside.

That said, the India-bound Mi 11X Pro comes in a black box with a different design that includes a likeness of the phone on the lid. In the camera department, this device comes with a 16MP selfie camera and a triple rear camera setup. Xiaomi has also tried to keep the size of the camera hole down, and I did not find it distracting. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Redmi Note 10 Pro on the rear packs a 64-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.9 aperture and a pixel size of 0.7-micron; an 8-megapixel camera; a 5-megapixel camera, and a 2-megapixel camera. One of the biggest pain points of Xiaomi devices these days is the bulky design, but that’s not the case with Redmi Note 10 Pro Max.
